Heller Anchor Bore Co. began operations in 1983 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Heller, Bremen Germany. Our sole purpose was the distribution of the highest quality masonry and wood bits produced by Heller in Germany.

Heller was known as the oldest hand tool manufacturer in Germany, tracing their history back to the year 1580. In 1928 Heller developed the worlds' first carbide tipped masonry drill and a few years later expanded the use of carbide into the production of other cutting tools. In 1965 Heller developed technology to produce masonry drills suitable for both rotary and rotary impact applications. This is the same technology used today by others to produce masonry drills.

Today, Heller Anchor Bore Co., while no longer a wholly owned subsidiary of Heller Bremen, carries on the tradition of providing only the highest quality masonry and wood bits. Second best is not good enough for our customers. The cost per hole is always the lowest when using masonry and wood bits provided by Heller Anchor Bore Co.
